Orlando Seale, creativity and performance coach

Orlando’s teaching and coaching draws on his rich and varied career as a performer and artist, weaving together improvisation, movement, journaling, mark-making, voice-work, guided meditation and Jungian dreamwork. Orlando’s supportive presence helps participants cultivate a compassionate relationship with themselves and their creativity, find freedom and play, and ultimately make soulful, daring creative work.

Orlando has taught and led workshops across Europe and America, working with individuals as well as facilitating/teaching with larger groups. Many of his clients are artists, writers and performers but Orlando also works with people outside the creative industries: encouraging teamwork and creative thinking in companies; helping clients with communication, presentation and performance nerves; coaching barristers; supporting personal development with the embodied dreamwork.

After studying English and French at Oxford University Orlando attended the Conservatoire National Supérieur d’Art Dramatique in Paris, and then the Ecole Philippe Gaulier (clown). He was introduced to Creative Dreamwork by Sandra Seacat and Kim Gillingham in Los Angeles in the early 2000s. In 2023 he completed the two year diploma in ‘Integrative movement and performance practice’ at the Thomas Prattki Centre in Berlin.

His varied performing career has taken him from the Royal Shakespeare Company and the West End to roles in film and TV (Hamlet, Sleepy Hollow, Pride and Prejudice, Bobby, Death on the Nile, Doll & Em, the West Wing, The IT crowd, Motherland). He also writes songs and performs with his band. Orlando’s paintings have been exhibited in the UK, France, Austria and Greece. He currently has a solo show of his artwork, “into something rich and strange” at Paul Smith, Rue de Grenelle, Paris.
